Kansas became a state on January 29, 1861 so today we celebrate it's 151st birthday! I am proud to be a Missourian from a line of Missourians, but I must say I love this state that I have found myself in for the last 12 years. I've posted about this in the past if you'd like more information.

But do accept my apologies: if I didn't know that Missourian referred to people from Missouri, it would be a happy giggle-inducing word to me.
